A dream place to unwind…

Welcome to Inverskilavulin Estate

A selection of luxury holiday lodges offering B&B, self-catering and full/half board packages with wildlife and activities, in the heart of a remote Scottish Glen overlooking Ben Nevis. Our properties are pet friendly, with log fires or wood-burning stoves, hot tubs, and breathtaking views.

Inverskilavulin Estate enjoys an idyllic setting in the midst of the spectacular West Highland landscape. On our doorstep, Glenloy offers a diverse range of activities including hiking, cycling, mountain biking, white water rafting, deer stalking, fly fishing, bird watching, and much much more…

The land at Inverskilavulin, Glenloy was bought in 2006 from Clan Cameron of Loch Eil, who owned the grounds since 1665. The estate is now family run by the Mainardi’s who worked in the luxury hotel trade for 45 years and retired to the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The family’s Scottish and French heritage shines through in their warm and artistic interiors, as well as the fine service that guests experience at Inverskilavulin luxury holiday lodges  – ideal for couples, families, solo travellers, and dogs. Read more about our story.

Despite such a rural and secluded setting, the estate is still within easy reach of most services and amenities with Fort William only 9 miles away. As the Outdoor Capital of Europe, Fort William offers a superb selection of amenities including a wide range of restaurants, shops and supermarkets, and excellent rail and bus links to both the North and South of the country. The Estate is approximately 90 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports and 70 miles from Inverness airport.

Special family and group occasions at Inverskilavulin

We do delicious two and three-course dinners, and birthday cakes / decoration / flowers / personalisation. We can also provide the estate as a venue and accommodation in our luxury holiday lodges with full/half board packages for: Weddings, Yoga Retreats, Photography Retreats, Painting Retreats and Mountain Biking Retreats. • If you are thinking about booking – just do it! You will not regret it – the pictures only communicate a fraction of the beauty of the surroundings. Just jaw dropping views and the house itself is spacious and clean. Lots of natural beauty to take in both at the house and the local area. Edie made everything very easy and always answered any questions. Would highly recommend to anyone!

  • Very comfortable, clean and well equipped property. Wonderful views down the glen. Stunning location. Would recommend to anyone.

  • Amazing lodge set in an outstandingly beautiful environment. This is the perfect place to explore The Highlands. The lodge was sparkling clean and was exactly how it was described/shown on the listing. The views from the lodge were breathtaking.

  • Cosy lodge, stunning views and a great location. It felt as though we were in the middle of nowhere but only a short drive into fort william. Plenty of information on local attractions/walks and we even had a complimentary box of shortbread biscuits…very well received after a 6hr drive. Plenty of walking to do in the immediate area and the lodge comfortable enough to spend a lot of time in when the weather is wet. The host was very friendly, greeting us on arrival. It was great to know the host was there if we needed. We will definitely be returning.

  • Wonderful spot just outside of fort William! Pictures don’t do it justice! House was spacious and had everything we needed for our visit – great location for shops, places to eat etc. and ideal for hiking and mountaineering! Hope we’ll get to stay there again soon :)

  • Lovely house in a stunning, beautiful remote, picturesque location even with its own water supply. Edie and JP were fantastic hosts, Edie helped us organise a taxi and gave us some local tips and welcomed us into their home for a drink on New Year’s Eve. Would recommend to anyone and we would love to visit again soon.
